hello everyone, one big problem again.... help me please,
Early in the morning I switched on my machine and when the Windows Boot screen appeared my machine restarted, it happened several times but worked after I tried booting it again and again.
After that I ran WinRAR and executed the benchmark test and after 30 to 55 seconds the PC restarted. I think RAM is getting naughty here . my config is as follows
Core2Duo E6300 1.86GHz
DDRII 667MHz RAM Kingston
WinXP Pro SP2 with all updates till august 2006
200GB SATAII Seagate HDD
cabinet with 400W smps(Zebronics)
what might be the problem, is it RAM or something else.
the reason i am pointing to RAM being faulty is that the same prob appeared in my friend's machne and it was gone when we tested his machine with a single RAM stick. He then got his RAM replaced and all is working fine now.
HHeeeelllllllppppp!!!!!!!!
