don't buy cooler master power supply. and select a good motherboard. Read threads on this forum for selecting your options and read reviews for knowing the features that differentiate these boards.

And would you like some advice regarding AMD options or this rig is final?

Thanks for the replies guys. My use is mainly 1080p Gaming...

@Ishu: Are these mumbai prices (lamington)
also how much would it cost me if i got all six fans with the Gamma case?

@Cool buddy: I was going to with the corsair anyways. and as for AMD, as far as i've seen, the Lynnfield beats all the current amds including the 970BE and all the X6 Thubans (gaming wise). But im open to suggestions :)

BTW, I didnt know bout this questionnaire so heres my answers

1. What is the purpose of the computer? (Note: If you are planning to say multimedia, you will have to be more specific as all types of systems are capable of doing that)
A: Gaming at full HD graphics with MAX settings

2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why?
A:Yes am open

3. What is your MAX budget?
A:50k

4. Planning to overclock?
A:yes

5. Which OS are you planning to use?
A:Win 7

6. How much hard drive space is needed?
A: 1TB

7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen you want?
A: HD 1080p

8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)
A:6

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
A: built one many times

10. When are you planning to buy the system?
A: a week

11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations?
A: at least for a year

12. Are there going to be any components that you don't want to include in this new rig? If yes, do mention.
A: maybe the HDD

13. Which city do you live in and are you open to buying from shops from other city/states?
A: Mumbai and only from mumbai

14. Mention any other points if deemed necessary
A: wanna know how much basic cooling system (ie fans for my cabinet) would cost (something I always overlooked, cause i always ran on stock)

AMD X6 will be more future proof than i5 760.

Fans cost Rs 400 for cooler master but they are not necessary.

He says atleast a year for d future proof question so i think 760 is gud enough..
Cost of i5+decent mobo is 16k
cost of 1090t+decent mobo is also 16k..
So for gaming 760 is better..and wayyy cooler..

also im kinda biased toward Intel cause I've had bad experience with AMD (but that cud be just me)
plus i know guys who have OCed their i5 760 to 3.6Ghz easy with air cooling.

also if i plan to OC, will the seasonic 520w hold me back or is it as good as the 550w corsair?

yes oc'ing is very easy on the i5 760 but it is also the case with some of the AMD's like the BE ones..
But oc'ed i5 760 performs better than oc'ed AMD's.
And the seasonic will deliver somewhat the same performance, OC'ing or not..
