tell them that it is out of warranty, but donm't tell them abt magnet...

yes degaussing should work for magnet problems

Samsumg guys came to my place a2days ago. They just soldered a few dried out points at the back of CRT...that's all
total charge 449/- only...

degaussing will remove the magnet effect if the CRT was exposed to a small magnetic feild for shorter time only...
One of my friend had placed his 1000W PMPO spks near the CRT for almost 6 months..we had to call Samsung guys...
