My querry is as follows.

I Have a laptop. Want to check out its 5 in 1 memory card reader.

Don't have a mobile or digicam which uses a memory card.

Which card shud i buy (MINIMUM Investment) and how shud i go about using and testing the memory card ?

Similarly want to add a Webcam, to my laptop. Suitable enough for chatting purpose and general videography in room light. Max Budget is 1800 INR.

There are a few more questions. But please answer these before, i proceed with next batch.

check out which all memory types ur memory card reader supports and den buy 1 accordingly

well..... a card reader is used in either a cellphone or a digicam and sum portable media players

so if u dont have ne of those i suggest dat u go buy 1 of those and use d memory card in it

u can also use d memory card for transferring data between 2 computers

4 a budget of upto 1800 u can buy a a ZEB-1300WC

if u can extend ur budget to around 2000 u can also buy a Logitech quickcam IM

just borrow a memory card from ur frnd.no use buying one just for testing.in case u cant borrow then get a 1GB microSD or MMC for 450-500 bucks.

So that means... i can use the memory card, exactly the way i use a Pen Drive, and the only rule being both PC's shud have a compatible card reader.

get a 1GB microSD or MMC for 450-500 bucks.

Didn't knew that these card no that pricy. I Guess just for testing purpose even 256Mb card shud be ok (if i can lay my hands on one at any shop).
