Hello all, :D

I have and optical mouse of frontech company. Now matter is that when ever i move the mouse or scroll the mouse it gives some sound in speaker. I tried to off the sound from 'Control Pane-> Sound' but there is no option regarding this. Not even in the 'mouse' menu of the control pannel. I want to off the sound. How can i do this?

Hey! i had the same prob, but not only for an op. mouse, for a ball mouse too!.

Is it not a krrrr, krrrr sound?

I've never experienced it while playing games, though!.

Facing the same problem, I use Microsoft basic optical mouse, the sound matches the movement of mouse exactly. I am fed up of this the sound is very irritating, to get rid of the problem i switch off my speakers most of the time. :(

mvishnu, yes the sound is like krrrr krrrr, u r not hearing the sound while playing game because the other voices are higher in frequency so, u cann't notice the sound of a mouse which is very low.

I think it's the problem of the sound card, which I have in my machine. Ofcourse the problem is not there is other systems

Sound of mouse

Is it prominent when u scroll on some browser?
I had the same problem, but it is not the mouse but the "grafix system !!?"
Try this " Go to BIOS & turn on the "Spread Spectrum" option" of grafix section, if it is supported in ur BIOS at all. This reduces the EMI generated from the grafics section of the system.

I have used the Logitech ball mouse on my PC with headphones. I could still hear the noise as soon as I move the mouse. But when I connected my regular mouse the noise was gone. SO it's definitly the MOUSE !!! U guys should try friends' mice.
