Motherboard problem

Right off the assembly line
Any solution for wrong BIOS Update which was [downloaded from Gigabyte site] wherein the PC failed to boot now and doesn't show any display.Motherboard model. S series Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L Ver 1.12,Processor Intel Celeron (made 2009),System Windows XP,UMAX DDR II 1 GB RAM. I tried removing the CMOS battery,tried shot the 2 Pins to clear the CMOS but no help.:-(

If they suggest to buy a new motherboard which existing brand and model should I buy....with respect to the config I use.....The PC is mainly for office purpose and my budget is 2500.:|

For Office purpose, trade the 1GB DDR-II with a 1333 MHz DDR-III 2GB module and then get your self a G41 based solution, boards like,

  • MSI G41M-P26
  • ASUS P5G41T-M LX
  • Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2

I think you mentioned that the board you had is a 2009 purchase, see if by any way you can get warranty for it.
