Motherboard Help!!!

I have Intel PIV 2.8 HT Processor, 256 MB DDR ram, intel 915gav motherboard. I have to replace my motherboard with a new one supporting DDR2.


Which motherboard are available in the market which can support my processor, and suggest the ram too?

AFAIK u hav a lga 775 proccy. So u can get a cheap intel 945 mobo if u want around 2.6k. and use ddr2 ram with it.

ask ur local vendor if he can get u one D102GGC2, though chances are less that he will manage to find one.........its probably out of production

Go for Intel 945 but you have to buy ddr2 ram for it....

ASUS P5RD2 VM also is a good option as we are assuming u have a socket 775 processor!

I have a similar question,my friends mobo blew the other day,
He has quite an old system,
Celeron 2.4Ghz on a 845GV mobo,
AFAIK 845 is out of prod,so could you guys suggest an alternative mobo?
