MOdem gone kaput???

I have beetel 220bx modem. I wanted to upgrade its f/w but doing it, the power supply gone & the upgrade was not cmplt. Then I checkeked it then it was showing steady leds for power ethernet and dsl! There wasnt any link betn comp and modem as i pinged.
Is my modem went bad? Are any ways to repair it??
Pls help!!!!!!!!

Take your modem to the BSNL office and ask the guys to check if it works. A power failure with no power backup during modem firmware upgrade and system BIOS update are the most dangerous things.

i haven't purchased it from bsnl.

I think the modem failed try RMA if its still in warranty

Most probably, you need to get your modem replaced. Before doing that, take your modem to friend's place and see if it works there. If not, get it replaced. If it's under warranty, you're lucky.
