Every new phone comes in boxes and the are either laminated or sealed with sticker. While buying check them and ensure that they are intact.

There is no way to ensure memory card or battery quality in second hand phone. You'll have to rely on the seller. And 2nd hand phones doesn't have company seals.

frnds NOKIA 6070 also has EDGE ,GPRS & HSCSD, costs about RS 5000, pretty good except for the small memory
