In the zone
have you deleted account who name is say 'xyz' and have administrative power or the account who name is 'administrator'.?
cause windows always create default 'administrator' account when os is installed.
try logging with user name "administrator" and blank password. if not successful try login with password if you remember when os was installed.

You must always create another admininstrator account other than the one provided
by XP. And use that for administration actitivities. You have actually screwed-up
by deleting the Admin account. I never came across this scenario before!! So I can't
tell you what to do.

Beware of the innocent
I just had a query. I tried deleting the administrator account while logged in as administrator, but xp didn't allow deletion of the current account. The other accounts wouldn't have had the privileges to delete the admin account so how did it happen?

And yes, however it happened, i guest hellraises is in a mess

You probably havent removed the admin acct, but just disabled it from appearing on the welcome screen... Go to %system32% folder, navigate to nusrmgr.cpl file, right-click on it, select Run As and set it to run as the admin account.. Create a new admin account... Then use the new admin account to get the orig admin account back on the screen...
