i have a dual boot up system with the following configuration:-
win 98 & win xp
40 gb hard disk with 4 partitions
intel pentium 4 processor
2.4 GHz motherboard speed
512 MB RAM
the problem with my pc is that when i try booting with win xp, the computer says:
"missing or corrupt hal.dll file"
please tell me how to fix it permanently.another problem is that though i have made 4 paritions, one of my partitions is showing up twice in "my computer".
please help on this also.
