I want to conenct my CASIO CTK700 Electronic (Piano) Keyboard to my PC with a MIDI to USB cable....according to the Casio manual the keyboard can be conencted to the PC...but I'm not sure if my PC is compatible.
The piano has MIDI IN & OUT ports and my local music shop is selling a Yamaha MIDI to USB cable for Rs.2500 but before I make that investment I'd like to know if my following PC is compatible.
My Config:
Processor: Intel D805
Motherboard: D101Ggc (with ATI Radeon200 Chipset) with 6 USB ports
No dedicated sound card (it is inbuilt)
Graphics Card: XFX7600GT
RAM: 1GB DDR (512X2)
OS: Win XP Media Center 2005
Please let me know ASAP as I'd like to purchase as early as possible as I've waited for this cable for a very long time (as it wasn't available till now and the local music store has only one of them).
Thanks in advance for your help.
