Dude had ya disabled system restore before:confused:  ,if no, You may Try running it from from the built-in Administrator account.
To enter the Administrator account log off and at the welcome screen do a Ctrl+alt+del twice.
This will bring up the "Log On to Windows" box.
Type in administrator as the User Name, leave the Password blank and press enter.

Is actually a real word..
you're gonna have to try a different restore point, you can also access sys restore through msconfig

well if you tried everything then the restore points are corrupt. do u use anything like symantec's ghost (save n restore), or Goback? why do you want to restore? you more then likely have a worm/virus/trojan that is messing everything up, and the best thing would be to either format reload OS, or run a series of scans, starting off with AV scans then an SFC, and from what I read on hear everyone seems to like ccleaner (never used it personally)
