Friends! First of all I want to tell that I am not receiving any replies for my previous posts. But that's not a thing to cry for. I have a problem. I had purchased an AHUJA ELECTRET CONDENSER MICROPHONE worth rupees 2200 with the aim of connecting it to my laptop's MIC IN with the help of a DIY 3.5 mm adaptor. I was successful in making the right connections. But the problem was the sound level. I had to speak loudly being too intimate to the microphone even after a 40 dB boost. On googling this problem, I found that I need a MIC PREAMPLIFIER for AMPLIFYING THE MIC LEVEL SIGNAL TO LINE LEVEL FOR THE COMPUTER SOUND CARD. And searching on eBay for the same gave results out of my budget. Any 'cheap' help?
