MACBOOK PRO 13"(non-retina) at 62k

I'm getting a APPLE MACBOOK PRO 13" (non-retina) at 62k in some student offer......shall i buy it??
its has intel i5 2.5GhZ (upto 3.1GhZ) , with 4Gb ram(upto 16GB), 500GB HDD(upgradable to SSD)....the only macbook which can be upgraded in future.....
i know its a charm for programming,movies,editing,8hour+ battery life n its very powerful,n the APPLE MACBOOK tag....
can we play any games in it??because it has 512MB integrated intel graphics....any casual games like nfs, fifa or a bit higher like assassins creed??

i bought a lenovo y510p(i7) 4 days ago for 67.5k....but its too heavy n bulky...moreovr the charge lasts for less than 3hours....so i am using it as a desktop replacement n i will b using it for major gaming...its not at all for regular college usage n its a pain to carry it....

so i was impressed by this little yet powerful MACBOOK PRO....so i juz want to know if i can play casual games or not in freetime or is it strictly for non-gamers??

I wouldn't burn 62k just for "Apple Macbook tag".

1.Not powerful. For the price tag, its hardware is pretty damn weak.
2.13"+1280x800 screen charm for programming and movie editing. That screen is not good for even movie watching.
3.Gaming in macbooks is non-existent.

NFS is not casual. If the GPU is Intel HD 4000, then NFS Rivals will not run at all. Forget Assassin's Creed. FIFA is all you will be able to play.

Consider a portable external battery for your Y510p.
Come on, Y510p is perfectly transportable unless you are very weak.

Why don't you just take an ultrabook? Lots better than MacBook,.

that epic moment when your 7 year old laptop has same screen resolution as a macbook pro (non retina) :bananana:
and though that laptop is heavier than the Y510p, it can be carried in one hand easily.

actually i love using my lenovo y510p....bt i have to carry my lappy everyday to college, then in computer classes (all in public transport).....n in 2-3 days i found it not very convenient.....so i was thinking of buying a 10inch netbook for that...then i found this student offer of apple....i was impressed at first coz the macbook pro looked awesome in the showrom...compact n sleek, stunning IPS display(as it seemed in the showroom n its cool for a 13" display) n it seemed powerful for regular usage n programming(with 2.5-3.1ghz i5 n upgradable upto 16gigs ram)...so i was juz asking for ur reviews....
This is the lappy i mentioned...Apple MD101HN/A Macbook Pro MD101HN/A Laptop Rs.76590 Price in India - Buy Apple MD101HN/A Macbook Pro MD101HN/A Laptop SIlver Online - Apple: Flipkart.com

You should have bought a Razer Blade 14" instead of your Y510p if you had so much cash to burn.
Its not too late to sell it :p.
If Apple macbook blows your mind then the new Razer Blade will drop a nuke.

1.Stunning 3200x1800 IGZO(better than IPS) screen.
2.core i7 4702HQ.
3.GTX 870m(at least 3 times better than GT 755M in Y510p).
4.Thinner than Mackbook pro.
5.One of the lightest laptops out there.
6. 6 hrs battery life.

ok......after reading all these now i really dont want to buy the macbook.....n really it is a waste for the 62k,i admit....actually i was impressed by the looks n brand name rather than the product itself....rather an external battery or a ultrabook will serve my needs that too at a much lesser price....
