m5a 78lm integrated graphic help

my motherboard is M5 78L-M
I have two problems with it.
first when i try to install additional features it shows a message that it does not supports my os , I have 8.1 running.
and the second thing I want to ask is about its configuration
Integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 3000
GPU
Maximum shared memory of 1024
MB
so what does it means and i have inno3d 2gb ddr5 graphics card.
does the motherboard have an integrated graphics card? and if yes can i use both together or how can i use my pc with maximum capacity my processor is AMD FX4300
please help me i am asking all these questions because i am new to computers and i dont know much about them.

you have inno3d graphics card of which series ? Anyway, it's better not use integrated graphics when you have a discrete graphic card [ performance issue ].

i have inno3d gt740
and one more thing i cant install my motherboard utilities from its dvd it always shows model unsupported my motherboard is asus m5a 78l-m usb3

You can live without the softwares provided on motherboard DVD. Anyway, GT740 is far more powerful than Integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 3000 and you can't use both together. So use the GT740 only.
