I wish to buy a Dell vostro 1510 of the following configuration....plz comment on this

I have shifted from vostro to Studio 15 with almost the same configuration.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T8100 2.0GHz, 2MB Cache, 800 MHz FSB

also nVidia is not available with studio 15.... so going for ATI Radeon (256 MB)

good you would be getting HD3650 256 MB, its a good gpu for laptop, and good thinking to switch onto Dell studio, but again whats your budget.
you can even get Studio 17. Best option available for 17 inch laptops I would say, even better than any compaq or HP. They do not ahve many 17 inch ones

Information You might want to know:

1. T8100 is 3MB L2 Cache, not 2MB - good news.
2. Radeon HD3450 is not bad. Its better than GeForce 8400GS - good news.
3. Studio 15 looks much better than Vostro - good news.

So... nothing bad I suppose making this shift :p
Go and get it.

add to this you can get a good config 17 inch lappy, if you wish to in affordable price.
And if you wanna get the 15" also that is good.

thank you guys...... I'm going for 15 '' becoz of the low price and compactness.... I've made the purchase....now waiting for it to arrive.....

actually, for same configuration, you can upgrade to 17" with HD3650 GPU (better than 8600GT) gaming laptop, Studio 17, by just paying Rs. 4,000 more.
