I'm planning to buy a gamepad for my PC and had almost settled on the Logitech Rumblepad 2.But then I read the reviews of the XBox 360 controller for PC's and also read about 'Xinput' or sumthing on this forum. Basically that post said that the xbox controller will be compatible with more games than other gamepads in the future. Now I'm very confused.I like the rumblepad for the way it looks, but I know that shudn't be a critireon while buying gamepads. So help me out folks!

I've been using the XBOX 360 controller myself while playing games on PC for quite well over a year and I personally have found it to work like a charm. 90% of the games today, especially"Games For Windows" support controller natively. I've played NFS-Carbon,Pro Street,Gid,GOW,Kane and Lynch,Assassin's Creed etc using it and 've found that if a game supports controller, 360's works. Go for it as it has decent Rumble too.
