if ur using limewire always check the file size ... never download any file with the size of 134 kb and 85.7 (not sure something in the 80s) they are viruses i royally screwed my machine and according 2 pestpatrol every limewire file is faulty so if ur using pestpatrol do not delete any file of limewire its of no use !!!

Doesn't BearShare crash a lot? I used to use BearShare but it used to crash and get uninstalled from my system so often that I had to uninstall it finally.

Lime-Wire is good. The pro version does not have any adware or spyware. Almost all freeware has those.

If you use any P2P software , you are at risk . Because whatever files your peer (other person) has be it pics, MP3, Videos etc., this harddisk may also contain
some worms, trojans, viruses. It may get transferred to your PC!!
Always use a good firewall like ZoneAlarm. Use Norton antivirus also.
