LF laptop under 40k general usage future proof

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook? Lots of Zoom/Skype meeting, browsing, ppt, documents, Movies/Youtube

a. Like: Asus/Acer/Lenovo/Mi
b. Dislike: HP/Dell

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for?
512GB SSD, i5 8th gen similar or more processing power

6) Anything else you would like to say?

• Will purchase online, want to use card benefit in upcoming online sales
• HD display, IPS with backlit Keyboard preferred, Win10 preinstalled preferred.
• Future proof may b upto 4yrs. Will extend the warranty if the option is there.

This is very difficult to get in a single laptop which is not overpriced & costs below 50k.

I meant to say how much IPS screen matters to you. Personally I would rather sacrifice on core count/other aspects for an IPS screen if I am going to use the laptop for watching mainly videos/reading as from my experience of using laptop for all these years it really pays to have a screen in laptop which doesn't require you to always position your head in front centre of the screen.

That's another issue nowadays, if you want IPS screen then your choices are very few(less than 5 to be precise) in 35-45k price range. I just checked & all those options are out of stock so currently no laptop with ips screen in 40k as far as I know.

Get the ryzen 5 model and add another 8GB stick to make it total 16GB.

is there any difference b/w ryzen 5 3rd gen and 2nd gen?

3500U is ~14% better than i3 1005G1 on an average.
3500U is technically 2nd gen laptop ryzen APU as previous gen had 2XXX naming scheme and there was no 1XXX laptop APU series.

That acer also has ips screen but is highly overpriced. Dell has older 2500u processor while asus has only 4gb ram & most probably the worst screen among all the 3 options. If you don't need graphics then you can go with it or you can get a gaming laptop & add a ssd to it.

no good options I was getting.. so thought of bumping up the budget considering, i will get solid futureproof device.
