lenovo y510p elAN TOUCHPAD issues

guys i am literally crying..i spent 78k on this and now nor vertical nor horizontal scrolling is working..i am on the latest drivers and have checked the settings..i dont want to end up taking this to service next day of buying..my parents will kill me..help help...how to fix this issue,....has anyone solved these issues with their elan touchpads??

help me as soon as possible guys!!

nope. lenovo y510p comes with both touchpad... elan as well as synaptics. personally i have seen 2 y510p on display both with elan touchpads.

@OP dude. u have to go to service center n get it replaced. just sneek out of ur house with ur lappy n get it replaced. those service center guys will not charge u a dime. but for time am not sure.

@OP got an idea.. tell ur mom/dad that u r getting the keypad laminated from the service center itself .. and get it laminated as well in case u need to submit ur lappy u can tell its with lenovo service center only .

Don't use the latest software from the website its a mess....

using one key recovery use the older drivers and then never update them.

i also faced this issue and I've reverted back to old...

Btw check this before doing anything...
