LED monitor.. or LED TV

Planning to purchase a Asus 27" LED VE278q .. @ 22k .. any advice or better options.. i mainly aim for 1080p and gamming of course .. any thoughts of using a LED tv as monitor ..? will it give the same performance.. and response times..?

i wont prefer LED TV to be used as monitor...
get dedicated LED monitor only.. and enjoy better quality or response time for gaming movies,etc at low cost ofcourse.

Most basic reason one can tell is that TVs are ment to be viewed from distance and pc monitors from close range, TVA aren't good for eyes from close range or preffered to work with for long durations like computer monitors, you can get a verry good quality monitor at 22k. If you are only looking for a monitor with speakers in-built for your personal use then only. But using tv with pc practically aren't verry comfortable and looks awkward other than if someone is using it for show purpose(for bussiness work like in tv studios.)
