Laptop wifi reply unstable

Hi all!

I have a HP mini laptop. I have a D-Link Dir-600 wifi router.
Sometimes I have a problem with the connection.

The reply from the router gets unstable often. When it gets unstable, there`s a Request Timed Out after every 20 replies.

Again it gets going fine though I am sitting at the same place.

I have searched the net but couldnt find a solution.

Can anyone help me?

I have all the protection activated in the router.

Seems your ISP is weak at times. Try connecting it directly to the CAT5/RJ45 node for a while.

I have a desktop and its connected with the cable. The conn. remains fine in desktop but sometimes disturb in laptop.
Though I get RTO`s in desktop too but at other times.
