Laptop Warranty?????

I wanted to buy a laptop from the US as im going there next month, but im unable to find that which companies offer warranties outside US as well [international warranty as one would call it], I got it confirmed from the HP and Sony people. [HP - int. warr. and Sony - Domestic warranty only], i wanted to confirm from Toshiba people and others but im unable to get information from them.

plz let me know if anyone out there can.

I think Dell provides, Lenevo also, you may just visit their web sites to know more about their Warranty issues...

Naah man, dell i cant buy bcoz of its dirct sales, and lenevo does not have nvidia cards into their laptops thats why im not interested in them either. im basically interested in toshiba because of its latest config n models

Chk d terms of international warranty b4 u buy coz the "terms" r quite misleading at times. Best example wud b about Nokia purchased from international market with International warranty.

Normally for compaq. dell d toll free nos r quite cooperative n helpful but when it comes to replacement, headache begins... If international warranty was actually "existant" most of Indians wud hav bought laptops from US. But due to prbs faced by many in terms of WARRANTY, service, it is not happening
