Lenovo G580 (with i5-3230M, no graphic, 4GB ram, 500GB hdd, 2xusb3.0 and all standard features) ~ 35k
I own the same,
It can easily handle AutoCAD, photoshop...
In gaming i've tried CS:GO... Works pretty well (40fps@high setting)

Edit:- i saw you dont like lenovo
Then go for dell vostro 2520 with same config (but it lacks usb 3.0)

USB 3.0 isn't a must? Is it? Its useful only with external hard drives.

Umm Dell inspiron 15? It uses ULV processor, in my opinion they are not much powerfull...
You can avoid usb3 if you are not going to use any external hdd...

I am not purchasing my class teacher is. So if its Dell then Vostro 2520 is the best buy?

Get the dell inspiron 15 IMO if ur teacher doesn't need power hungry program's otherwise the lenovo is a great deal
