Laptop purchase opinion..

Hi guys, I am helping out a friend to buy a laptop, his requirements are:

1.Budget - 20-23k INR
2.Screen Size - Any
3.Country - India
4.He will be performing various tasks like gaming [games like Flight Simulator X, GTA 4, Crysis, etc] , watching HD Movies, causal work, etc

I don't think U can get a gaming laptop in that budget

agreed. one way is to go with AMD chipset based laptops as you will atleast be able to play few games at low-mid settings (not on FullHD resolution). Check Lenovo and Compaq.

I think those laptops wont be able to play those games at normal settings . Get a desktop instead .

Thanks guyz, I tired convincing him to buy a Desktop but to no avail! Anyways I want to purchase a Laptop for my self, My budget is around 40-45k, same usage.. could you give me some options....

Dell Inspiron will be a good option . If you want if for gaming then you will be dissapointed .

Also , Try Lenovo Z570.

What would be a good gaming Laptop under w50k, a little more wont hurt..

Check Dell XPS 15 then if your budget is above 50k. Also, check ASUS models.
