1) What is your budget?
80K is the upper limit
2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
I want portability. Larger screen size is not a problem, however, something thin and light is what i want.
I'll prefer a well built product that perhaps matches the build quality of Apple/XPS or at least tries to.
I would also prefer a product that looks nice. Nothing that compromises function, of course. But i don't want it to scream gamer. A muted design that could function well in professional setting is preferred
3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
I will be enrolling in a MBA program soon. Primary use will be web browsing, media consumption, office and note taking. I will also be doing some coding as an extra curricular.
Personal use will be limited to Discord video calls and web browsing. I have no gaming use. I may try xCloud when/if it launches but other than that gaming laptop is a no no.
5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
SSD is a must. Can do i5 but i think Ryzen will be cheaper? Expandable RAM and SSD is preferable. No use of dedicated graphic card
4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
My last product was Asus vivobook but I am encountering BSOD and other random issues that affect my quality of life. I dont want to blame Asus for QC but something a bit more reliable is what i want. Even if its from Asus
I did some research myself and these are few products i have taken to liking
Asus Zenbook 14 ux425 (ideal but i am worried if issues might pop up in future)
