Laptop for round 20k

After around 5 years of faithful service my desktop has finally conked out. Need to buy a very basic laptop to replace it. Will be using just for office work, music and the occasional movie. Having a optical drive is a big plus. Am ok with buying an older model (not second hand) just one who's price has been reduced.

Please suggest. All I've come up with till now is

HP Pavilion DM1 Series dm1-3014AU (no optical drive )

went checking out the market today ....found out two in the 21k range

Acer 4750z
and compaq 620

most of the config is good, but they seem to be running some pretty strange processors ...

Acer Aspire 4750z Price in India - Acer 4750z Intel Powered Laptop
This seems decent. Better CPU than the compaq and ASUS above.
