1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)

below 45,000/-

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?

Programming (no gaming, office use)

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

8th Gen intel or Ryzen , 8 GB RAM, SSD (small is fine)

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

I like DELL. First laptop i buy in 2008, still working.

Current laptop is HP 15-R062TU 15.6-inch Laptop costing Rs. 27k.

For this HP laptpop, display died 2 time. First time, replaced for like 10K+, it died again, then used a external monitor. Now laptop itself stopped working.

HP seems to have poor wifi range compared to DELL laptop i have.

Don't like HP because of this experiance. Maybe it is because i go for cheap HP laptop, higher end HP laptop maybe better.

6) Anything else you would like to say?

More battery backup will be good.

Will be purchasing from Amazon. Maybe i can look for local if price is good.

I will be using Ubuntu 18.04 on this laptop, no Windows needed.
