Laptop for my sister - Homemaker/Blogger

Hi,
Please suggest a Laptop for my sister. She is a homemaker and will be doing some blogging/writing (Personal, hopefully it grows professional!).


Budget - Between 20 - 30K
Primary usage - As mentioned : moderate Surfing, Blogging, MS office/PPT etc (She does some business as well)
Size and weight considerations : Must not be too heavy, should be able to carry very easily. Screen size, > 13"
None: But, it will be used primarily in Lucknow, should have good Service Support!!



Any suggestions guys?

Go with a HP C30
or a more powerful Asus K53SD-SX809D

They are both close to 2.5 kg.
I would suggest the Asus laptop

Or go with a HP 430 for the bare minimum just enough for your computing needs.

I would also suggest the Asus one. There is just one problem with that. Its looks are not girlish so buy it if you are okay with that.

I will have her take a look @ HP and Asus laptops and Buy whichever she likes!

a suggestion - if her pupose if mostly surfing net and little computing (like ppt, xls etc) then check netbooks. they are light, check something with a good processor like intel core i3 etc. My daughter has got Sony VAIO Y series laptop from her office for work purpose, its light and good for basic computing.
