My friend is looking for a laptop mainly for gaming. although he isn't hardcore gamer but would like to play games mentioned above.

his requirements are:

GT740M GPU
1TB HDD [if possible in his budget]

Vaio does seem to hit the right spot..... im only concerned about the ULV being a bottleneck in games instead of the 740m.... otherwise pricewise I dont think any other laptop comes close to the overall package the vaio is currently giving

You won't even notice it in any other games except for BF3 and Crysis 3 :D Telling it from personal experience, I have i7. :p
