Laptop for CSE student?

Right now I am in Ist semester and think won't be needing laptop for the Ist year.
But still thinking of buying one now(cause in recently held workshop about app development I was lagging behind ). Would be using it mostly for coding, watching anime and somewhat gaming at medium settings though gaming is at a bottom preference. Want good battery backup too.
EDIT:- Won't shell out 45k for gaming laptop(dedicated gpu). So just don't focus much on gaming.
College provided us specification as:-
1. 3rd Gen Intel Core i5 3210M(clock speed and turbo boost speed too mentioned -.-)
2. OS Win8 and Linux
3. 4GB RAM
4. DVDRW Drive too :v
5. Intel HD Graphics 4000
6. 500GB HDD

And my budget is upto 35k can extend to somewhat 40k not sure though. EDIT:-Can spend upto 40k.
I wonder if I would get a laptop with such specifications under 35k.
Which laptop should I buy?
PS: Have a HP laptop(first laptop) already but it sucks. Changed my whole perception about laptops in a negative way.

Laptops with 'M' CPUs aren't available in India. Only U, H, HQ or MQ variants are.

Yeah it's go enough for you & within your budget.
You can play FIFA 15 in high settings, medium for FIFA 16 maybe..... COD Advanced Warfare should run in low quality smoothly

Can anyone also suggest a small laptop mostly using for making presentations and browsing internet and should not hang. Should not be highly priced too must be aroung 10-18k.
