HP - DV4-3016TX 14inch with core i5 IInd generation and ATI HD 6750 GPU should suffice your needs for CPU intensive and GPU intensive tasks.

Price is ~ 43k for 2nd Gen Core i5.
With 2nd gen Core i3 it would be around 40k.
Also AMD has recently released the Liano (Sabine) Mobile APU platform with laptops probably coming in July 2011.There will be some good Alternatives at decent price points compared to Intel.
However for CPU intensive tasks Intel still would be the Preferred Choice.
