laptop for 28k

this is for my friend.

budget is 28k.flexible upto 31k.spending More than 31k is impossible. So suggest accordingly.

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
a. Netbook; 10” screen or less
b. Ultraportable; 11" - 12” screen
c. Thin and Light; 13" - 14" screen
d. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
e. Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen


ans: need 15.6".. will select 14" if the performance is much better compared to 15.6" sized laptop.

3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: sony , asus,samsung, dell,
b. Dislike:

he prefers SONY first then ASUS
4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
he will watch HD movies(sometimes full HD),play games(he will not play very high end games) such as NFS hot pursuit,fifa 2012,2013,pro evolution soccer 2012,and some more racing games

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?

15.6" is the first priority.

6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish)

will purchase locally. Nowadays laptop's prices are increasing. Suggest a VFM laptop.Will AMD A8 powered laptops provide VFM??????

most games can be played by HD4000 on 3rd gen Core i processors. But cheaper laptops based around same (Core i3) are yet to appear. So go for HP G6 2005AX. Thats as close you can get to a proper laptop.

Yes VFM if you can get it for 31-32k.

Yes. 1.9Ghz cause its a quad core. Most Quad have speed of 1.5-2.5Ghz.

but the laptop can run game at descent framerate. don't go by clockspeed.
