Person is "Jyotish", "Astrologer"... Basic task not heavy..

I suggested this one, but it's too big for budget. Suggest similar if possible in low budget..

Get a windows 8 based 10" tablet with bluetooth keyboard+mouse. That'll be portable and well in his budget.

PS: No offence but the positions of the "stars" don't effect our lives in anyway. :|

BTW, windows 8 tablet supports office (like computer), touch office, office 360??

If he wants a full laptop, Lenovo G50-45 with quad core A8 is ok. You have to compromise on weight and touchscreen if you want performance at this budget and vice-versa.
