lancard problem!!!!

pals...
i needed to shift my office pcs 2 gbps lan...
so i got lan cards.....
installed all the lan on all the pcs...
but on 1 pc....
as soon as i fit the lan card, the system doesnt starts...
nothing happens, when i click on the power button...
and again if i remove the card, the system starts.......
tried with other normal lan cards,,,,,(10/100) and the system starts normally...
but with these cards,,,(10/100/1000,(SVB International) the system doesnt start at all....
but all the cards working well...on the rest of the 6 pcs.....
the mobo..is... ASUS A8V-MX

have checked 2 diff. pci slots...
also upgraded the bios...
but same prob...
10/100 lan card works,, but not 10/100/1000 lan.....
system doesnt power on....


help needed pals...

is PCI clocks set to default? try setting it below normal

would that help as other cards work perfectly...only this gigabit card doesnt work...
but well will that a shot 2...
