1. Type sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
2. Edit the menu.lst file which u'll find in /boot/grub/menu.lst
For this type sudo kwrite /boot/grub/menu.lst in Konsole Terminal.
You'll find something like this somewhere

You can set the timeout seconds here

Replace 10 with 8 or whatever value u wish
SAVE these settings & restart!
These settings wil make Windows boot by default and will allow u to set the timeout seconds.
