Right off the assembly line
Dear Forum,
Unable to open password protected zip files.

Details:
Number of files: 2.
Files created on Win 10, 64 bit PC, with password protection.
Files' size: 6 GB, 8 GB.
Files copied into Android phone memory (not SD Card).
Files copied back to another Win 7, 64 bit PC.

Unable to open either of them.
Error message: Password does not match.
Confident about password(s).
File copies without errors.
Can see the correct and complete directory of folder and files in display window before unzipping.

Thanks for your reply.
Am confident of the password.
Both files exhibit same behaviour.
It rather seems a case of file exceeding 4GB and transfer from WIN10 to Android and to WIN7.
The first files which prompt for password have long names too.
Is there anything specific that could have happened.

I think most android phones nowadays use ext4 / f2fs file system which have no issue in supporting files larger than 4GB
