I m planing to buy new HDD Western Digital 160Gb 8Mb cache, ultra ATA
for my
AMD Duron 1ghz. 512 mb ram.
so is this HDD ok for my PC?

yes its in canadian dollar. 99$ is like 3000 indian Rs. there so its not a bad deal.

Mobo does affect the working of hdd, in sense of capacity it can support and advantages it can take of the speed of HDD
