Is this Config able to Run Vista Smoothly ?

Is this Config able to Run Vista Smoothly ?

Intel Dual Core 1.6 or 1.8Ghz (E2140 / E2160)
Intel 945
1GB or 2GB Kingston or transcend RAM
160GB Samsung HDD
etc.....

Two of my Friend has this same config and in their PC vista run like a Tortoise but in my PC (Intel 3.2HT, Intel 865GSA, 512MB RAM) vista run very FINE

one on them has used my same DVD to install vista and on other one I have myself Install it
but in both PC it is working slow

What can be the Reason ?

Is it the older RC2 release or ny older OEM release. Install latest autopatcher and this will makes things faster and fix many bugs.

The very first time i installed vista, it was testing my patience...But after a few months i installed again with latest drivers and autopatcher, then it was fine.

System is fully vista premium ready even with 1 GB + 945 (GMA 3000) + Pentium Dual Core 1.6
