Is Lenova ideapad y500 worth buying?

I just got into PC gaming so I don't know much about PCs and due to various circumstances I have to go for a laptop. My budget is 70k and I can stretch it to 75k max. My primary needs are gaming and random stuff for collage. Also if you think there is a better laptop at same money range please mention.

I think Y500 (especially the one with GT 750M) is the best thing you can get for gaming besides Alienware here, which is far more expensive. Go for it. I don't think there are many better laptops out there. Not sure about Samsung, but I can vouch for Y500 being good.

Thanks for the confirmation since I got mixed reviews everywhere. BTW I hate alienware even if I had money I would go for a MSI over a Alienware.

My advice is to wait for Lenovo Y510, because that laptop has got very beautiful and one of the best screen. can compete with Asus and Alienware Screen.

Or better buy Asus ROG laptop from US online site till 60k and pay rest of the money for import duties and taxes.
