Is it a site problem,trojan,spyware or what?

I am an user of Internet Explorer 6.
I am having a problem in opening certain sites and instead of the original site opening the site finditanyway.com opens up with its search page.Following are the examples:

When I try to open imdb.com then the site finditanyway.com opens with the search for casinos.I tried using Google's cache of the page and changed my IP address using Anonymizer but that does not seem to help with the result again being a search for casinos.

Similarly when I try to open ccleaner.com then it automatically opens up the search page for spyware at finditanyway.com.The above 2 methods tried by me failed here as well.

Rest of the other sites like Google,Yahoo,Thinkdidgit forums etc. are working fine,the problem as of now has been seen by me only for the above mentioned sites.

I have Lavasoft's Adaware , Spybot's Search and Destroy ,Mcafee virus and the inbuilt Windows firewall installed.

The problem began yesterday.It was there in the morning ,went away in the afternoon and then again came back in the night.It is present now as well.I was using all the above softwares in random sessions yesterday.

So is the problem with the site or some problem with my computer.I guess the latter one could be true.

Any help would be appreciated.

site opens fine on my comp. (imm on opera though)' I would suggest the following:
(a) try an alternate browser
(b) scan for spywares in safemode
or
(b)start>run>"msconfig"
# choose diagonistic start up
or
# go to the startup tab and uncheck all entries save you antivirus and antispyware software

you might also like to get a better firewall. (eg. zone alarm)

@pathiks : i guess you should read the browser fanboyism thread(sticky).I would seriously prefer if you could help me actually fix the problem.I will still try to look for an alternate browser.

I have tried firefox and the problem is solved but still beng a die-hard IE user,I would like to solve the problem. So now the new problem is as to why is the internet explorer not able to open certain pages? Please help.

Install ZoneAlarm firewall. It monitors all your Net activities. You can allow or deny
any program Net access. Don't use IE browser, since all these Adware & malware
hijack IE & connect to the Net!!! Better use FireFox or Opera. Also install antispyware
SpyBot. It can prevent browser hijacking, registry changes, spyware etc.,

adware problem; ur hosts file and also ur browser have been hijacked.

download a good one from here *www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm extract its conyents and replace ur infected one situated in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc with this one. u may also red the link, its informative.

having done this, reboot in SAFE MODE and scan ur pc with any 2 of the following anti-spywares : adaware, windows defender, ewido anti-spyware 4.0

using windows defender/microsoft anti-spyware, rstore ur browser settings to default. this will set ur search pages to windows default. u may also wish to set ur home page to "about:blank". open ie>options>internetoptions. lock ur homepage, etc using spybot.

thank you everyone!!! but the thing it was finally disabling url changer using browser sentinel which finally solved the problem.
