Hello friends,
i want to know about IRCs
can you suggest some IRCs those offer free eBooks and other educational and useful stuff
and also can you suggest how to open them
bcoz i try to open IRCs like irc.freenode.net but it doesnt get opened
do help me

Hi,

An IRC network like irc.freenode.net has to be accessed using an IRC client. You can use mIRC on windows, or irssi on linux.

To connect to the server, type "/server irc.freenode.net" in the server window.

Some other popular IRC servers are -

Undernt - irc.undernet.org
Efnet - irc.efnet.net

Channels like #ebooks or #bookz may exist on these servers from where you can get ebooks.

Get MIRC, it's the best IRC client for windows. Or u can also get chatzilla extension to use with FX.

To download ebooks, then goto www.paketnews.com or www.ircspy.com and search for appropriate ebooks and download it with MIRC (see the tut).

hi guys,
i tried to download evaluation copy of MIRC
but everytime i start it i get a message to register and when i click on continue then i get message that unable to connect to the server
i get the message for all servers
wil i have to purchase full copy of mIRC for that
do help guys
