recently bought an Ipod touch 8gb, and tried to jailbreak it. But i wasn't able to do so, and uninstalled the jailbreak software, Blackra N1. When i restarted the device, it went into recovery mode. I downloaded both the firmwares 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 from third party sites, since itunes is too slow at it, and sometimes, in between the downloading, it fails and shows "network timeout". But when i try to install the .ipsw file by itunes, it says "Firmware not compatible".
What do i do? Please help!!
