iPad Mini or...?

Hi,

I am now looking for a tablet and I guess the iPad Mini fits the bill. Especially with that price tag, I think it will be a steal here in India. But again, what are the downfalls?
Seeing the videos, there is hardly any difference in the screens of the Mini vs iPad 2..
There is nothing that really worries me about it at the moment.
Oh, I would be using it mainly for reading magazines and books. A bit of surfing and occasional HD gaming.
I did consider the NeXus7, but the hardware has issues and Android still lags...IMHO.

What do u guys think...

Saw the Nexus 7 this morning, and I really liked it a lot....I mean, the screen size is just perfect. Just perfect. This is surely my back-up plan, if the Mini is, as the attendant said, 24-25 K.
Which I doubt...

Sooooo much better than the NeXus 7. Also, Apple's product, so quality is top notch.
