Intex DVD

The 5.1 DVD which I had got as free gift on subscribing to DIGIT has suddenly stopped recognising original and recorded CDs (both audio and video). It is only accepting and recognising DVDs now. What could be the likely problem and how can I overcome/rectify it. Plz help.

hmm. Its is able to read DVD ? .. well.. happened something similar with me.. but was DVD which it stopped recognizing at first. . then CDs.. and now its dead..

Try looking for firmware upgrade or to make sure that there is no misconfiguration from OS .. trying running different OS (u may hv dual boot) .. or try it on different computer.

Thanks Ricky, but I think you misunderstood my query. I am talking about the stand alone DVD player and not the DVD drive of the computer. Can you figure out the fault now???
