confused me even more b/w Intel i3 3220 or AMD 4.4 GHz AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300

Earlier i ws not considering AMD as I already told-
"I hve been using Intel P4 2.4 Ghz for over 8 yrs now & almost every component of my PC has either been replaced or been repaired so i m a little biased towards INTEL. If upto 7K ne AMD can perform better than INTEL please suggest considering i will only play games, watch HD movies & net surfing.

My frnd's AMD Dual core proc stopped working in 1 yr dats why i hve a bad impression of AMD."

Both costs near 7K so simply for which one should i go???

one more thing... if i consider Intel should i w8 for i3 4th gen?? will it available near 7K??

FX 4100 or 4300 is far behind as compare to i3-3220.

Could nt understood most of the part but got to knew most people are recommending 6300 specially for gaming.

First of all You cant just "delete a thread"..
and to answer your question, i3 3220 stomps on a FX 4100.. IT even surpasses a FX4300 and a FX6300 in some benchmarks but it is wise to get a FX6300 instead, as the multiple cores will benefit you in the futureproof

My bad nd thnks. FX-6300 is i hve decided.
Now 3rd tym i m asking this It says AMD BULLDOZER FX 6300 is 7K & at Flipkrt AMD 4.4 GHz AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (FD6300WMHKBOX) Processor 7.9K AMD 4.4 GHz AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (FD6300WMHKBOX) Processor - AMD: Flipkart.com
