intel DH67CL issue

i just buy intel DH67CL . some one told me that these motherboard have issue with sata port. so i seach the internet

(Is there a way I can tell an Intel® 6 Series Express Chipset B2 stepping from a B3 stepping?

i check the chipset but can't get where S-spec is written. can any one help me out.

Well the issue was rectified in March 2011.. how did you buy such old stock a year later ? You should have checked for the mfg date when buying. Send it to RMA.

But how to check is the bord is b2 or b3?

i just buy intel DH67CL

if you have bought intel H67 mobo in the last 6 months there is 99.99% probability that it is B3.if still in doubt look for a white sticker at the side of mobo packing mentioning serial no. barcodes etc.There it should be mentioned something like H67CLB3.

yes on motherboard packing white sticker year of import FEB 2012 and also B3
