Please help me. I am having an intel 865 GBF motherboard with 2.8 GHz pentium 4 Processor and 512 MB Ram. The system was working fine for the past 2yrs till a week back when it starts creating problem. The processor and the fan runs properly but there is no display comming. When i remove the ram beep sound is there means no problem with ram too. But still if failed to show the booting screen. I though there is a problem with my Motherboard and so i got a new one. I have checked the processor while purchasing the new board and there i could see the initial screen. But after setting up the system here in my house first it failed to boot and there was no beep sound when ram is removed. Then i removed the powersuppy battery, processor and even the bios jumper and kept it like that overnight and the next morning i reconnected all and at that time it has given the display. I switched off the system amd after sometime when i again switched it on, it was not working. So again removed everything and try to given it a break and reconnected and find that beep sound is comming if ram is not there. And then i fixed the ram and got the display back. Means if i can have the ram beep sound i am sure to get the display. But today again no display but still i am having the RAM beep sound if Ram is removed. That means the display is not comming eventhough everything works fine. What could be the reason please help me. I have changed the SMPS and ram from my friend to make sure they are all ok. Then why am i not getting the display. What can i do. I have checked with another AGP card but still the problem persist. Please help me. :(

i think its a possibility that either ur agp cards r not supported...or the other possiblity is that it might be ur monitor whose the culprit here i had a similar problem couldnt find a solution tried it on a different monitor everythin worked fine...jus check out wid a different monitor n imake sure all the connections r tight n everythin is in place...n try to see if it works if not lemme know we`ll see the other possiblities do try it wid a different monitor..becoz the thing ur sayin is u got the display at de place where u got the mobo from n not at ur home so i strongly suggest try a different monitor it jus maybe the problem...

Thanks for the response. I do have another system too here which is having Intel 945G Chipset on Gigabyte board with a Pentium D processor 2.8 GHz. And this same monitor works fine in that system. But i cant change the processors in different board as the sockets are different. Let me know if there is any other posibiliites please :(
