i am newbie to linux. can anybody help me in installing
pctel hsp56 micromodem ,i have got the driver and i tried to install
it but error occured .any body having same problem. help me please.

In what form is the driver files ? Are they in an rpm formalt( not likely) then say rpm -ivh xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.rpm If they are the source files then first unxip then by unzip xxxxxxxxx.gz then tar -xvf xxxxxxxxx.tar then cd xxxxxxxxx then ./configure the make then change to root by su and make install Note at all stages there should be no errors reported.
